Present Futures: Virtual and Augmented Reality in Art

We’re excited to announce that the Royal College of Art and Acute Art are teaming up for Present Futures: Virtual and Augmented Reality in Art, a five-day summer course in London.

The programme will be led by John Slyce (Senior Tutor, RCA) and Daniel Birnbaum (Artistic Director, Acute Art) offering an introduction to a fascinating world of new technologies and how virtual and augmented realities are changing contemporary art and its institutions with exclusive site visits across London.

Participants in the course will encounter contributions from leading representatives of some of London’s most significant institutions as well as several of today’s most influential artists, editors, and collectors – including Olafur Eliasson, Hans Ulrich Obrist, and Brian Donnelly/KAWS.
